CASE STUDY
CODE VEIN - Special SKU Beauty ShotWe worked on the Code Vein Special SKU Beauty Shot for Bandai Namco's Brand, Creative Services and Digital teams. This was an unusual beauty shot request and special request because it needed to be designed from scratch to mirror the European version.
Like most beauty shots, was the amount of visual content and copy that needed to be arranged. It required several rounds of iteration to balance out the scale and placement of each element. When we designed this set of beauty shots it was a fun challenge with some sizzle. We contributed on a creative level to the brand of the game. |

STEP 3: Design Process
We like to think of these beauty shots like a virtual store window display staged for the customer. One of our beauty shot trademarks is to add dimension and depth. One of the ways we create depth and realism is through reflections that are perspective accurate for elements such as pack shots and other bundle items.
We first started with the digital 1920 x 1080 pixel banner. The following are the early drafts designed with art direction from Senior Graphic Designer, Mike Le, to work on the layout prior to involvement from the brand manager:
